THE BEST RUSSIAN CONTEMPORARY ARTIST

The Best Russian Contemporary Artists (Art Index) is a list (unranked art rating) of artists from Russia and the Russian abroad, no older than 1960, compiled on the basis of indicators for evaluating achievements, popularity, creative activity of authors (titles, awards of artists, participation in exhibitions, fairs, auctions, mention in art -ratings, the presence of works in museum collections, etc.).

Authors can also be included in the list of the Best contemporary artists according to expert recommendations, which allows the art community to discover new talents.

The Art Index makes every effort to ensure the objectivity of the generated list, however, in any case, the list reflects only the subjective position of the compilers.

The maximum number of names in the List is 500 authors (Top 500). The list is open and up-to-date. The Art Index is considering proposals for the inclusion of authors in the list of The Best Russian Contemporary Artists.

The Art Index is primarily aimed at collectors and all connoisseurs of modern fine art.

Diana Malivani is part of the list of the Best Russian contemporary artists (Art Index). Artist Diana Malivani, by her training and profession, is a Doctor of Medicine (M.D., Ph.D.). She is represented by internationally reputable art galleries Zatista in the US, Singulart and Artsper in France, and The Artling in Singapore. Her works were published in international art journals: Forth Magazine, Los Angeles; ACS Magazine, Chicago; Peripheral ARTeries, Art Reveal and Inside Artists, London; and Artfuly Magazine, Sydney. Diana’s paintings are offered for sale on 1stDibs and Artsy, the leading online art marketplaces in the US, and they are listed by auction houses Artprice and Drouot in France and Barnebys in Sweden. Her artworks are held in the collections of both National Museums in Russia and private collectors in more than 20 countries: US, UK, France, Italy, Japan etc. Diana’s art has deserved several essays by British art critics Timothy Warrington and Christopher Rosewood. «Malivani impeccably coalesces diverse artistic attitudes to convey her meaning through learned visual and philosophical channels» (T. Warrington). «Diana Malivani possesses an inspirationally innovative approach through which she brings together various artforms and presents her limitless imagination and creativity.
