Vladimir Seleznev included in the list of the Best Russian contemporary artists (ARTEEX). Vladimir Seleznev (born April 25, 1973, Nizhny Tagil) is a contemporary Russian artist and curator. Service in the army 1991-1993. From 1994 to 1997 he worked as a welder in the Blast furnace shop of the Nizhny Tagil Metallurgical Combine. In 1997 he entered the Art and Graphic Department of the Nizhny Tagil Pedagogical Institute. He graduated in 2002. Organizer and member of the art group Zer Gut (2001-2005). In 2005-2006 he was the curator of art projects of the N.O.G.A. Action Center (Yekaterinburg). From November 2006 to April 2019, he was the curator of the Ural branch of the State Center for Contemporary Art (NCCA-ROSIZO). The works are in the collections of the Nizhny Tagil Museum of Fine Arts, the State Center for Contemporary Art (Moscow), the Museum of Modern Art PERMM (Perm), Stadtgalerie (Kiel, Germany). From 2014 to 2018 he teaches at the Russian State Vocational Pedagogical University, at the department of "Art Design".
